Contaminating residues from earlier digestions are therefore avoided. Resists pressure deformation (to max. 25 bar) and temperature (max. 160 °C). An accessory burst-proof, sealing membrane prevents loss of volatile compounds and provides safety against overpressure. Optional digestion vessels with interchangeable inserts (internal liners) enable precise weighing-in (in most cases the complete vessels would be too heavy for balances).
